Canowindra's Haydon Hodge finished the NSW Combined High Schools Championships last week with a medal and a top eight finish.
Hodge finished second in the 16 years boys 50m freestyle final to claim the silver medal.
The 16 year old touched the wall in 25.77 seconds, the same time which gave him top qualifying spot after the heats.
Hodge also finished eighth in the 16 years boys' 100m freestyle in 58.60 seconds.
