It's time to get wet!!

Swimming Club will commence in Canowindra of Friday November 9 starting at 5:45pm.

To get ready for the new season registrations will be taken at the pool on Wednesday 31st October and Thursday November 1 from 3:30pm to 5pm.

Registration costs $40 per swimmer and this year each family, initially, [until the next box of them arrives] will receive a 'go swim' pack when they register.

The 'so stylish' bag contains goodies from Swimming Australia that will keep you occupied while your parent fills out the necessary registration paperwork.

Registrations will also be taken next week on Wednesday and Thursday, November 7 and 8, from 3:30-5pm.

Those swimmers registered before Friday 9th will go into the draw for a free family pool pass, which will be drawn at the pool on the Friday night.

So mark you diaries and prepare to lower your times as the spoon is once again up for grabs.

Canowindra Swimming Club is always looking for volunteers to hold stopwatches and generally help out on Friday nights. If everyone does a bit the whole night runs smoothly and you will be at the right end to cheer on you swimmer.

So please consider helping out on Friday nights.

Just a couple of extras to finish with CWD Swimming is holding a Swimming Development Weekend on Saturday and Sunday November 10 and 11 at Parkes.

The weekend is open to swimmers aged 9-14 yrs and is open to all those in squad training.

It will be held at Parkes Olympic Pool Dalton St Parkes and costs $10 per swimmer.

Reservations and payments must be in by November 5 and sent to Barbara Weaver, P.O. Box 509 PARKES, 2870.

Canowindra Swimming Club may be holding their own development half day on Sunday November 16, 2007.

If the day is confirmed it will be open to all swimming club members from Canowindra and beyond and a coach will be there for stroke correction and other associated things.
