Cabonne Council will take its Committee Meetings on the road next week to Canowindra.
The Council’s Environmental Services, Works, Community Services and Economic Development and Tourism Committees will meet from 9.30am on Monday 2 July 2012 at the new Canowindra Services and Citizens Club and all Canowindra residents are invited to attend.
While the Council usually meets at its council chambers in Molong, Cabonne Mayor Bob Dowling said the Councillors welcomed the opportunity to travel to various locations in the Shire and he was looking forward to meeting in Canowindra.
“It will also give Councillors and staff an opportunity to inspect the rebuilt Services and Citizens Club which plays such a big part in community life in Canowindra,” Cr Dowling said.
It will be the second time in three months that the Council has taken its Committee Meetings out of the council chambers after meeting at the Australian National Fields Days site at Borenore in April.
Business papers for Monday’s meeting will be available on the day or may be downloaded from Council’s website www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au
