Due to their nature, it is a rarity in collision sports that fathers will get the opportunity to play alongside their sons in the same team.
While the dream of completing that feat lies within many, the toll on the body is often an obstacle to making it a reality.
However, with injuries and work commitments plaguing the Canowindra Tigers on Sunday, Brett Traves and sons Nick and Brendan lived the dream when they took to the field for Canowindra against Trundle in a memorable day for the family.
