Making this all the more daring is the fact that it is an original work written by CCP members Ian Guihot and Anthony Hamer.
The current arrangement is the product of months of writing and further improvement via continual workshops and rehearsal with cast members.
The show revolves around two music promoters who move from the city to the sticks in search of local talent.
Over five years, they experience some success with an all-girl heavy metal band (the South Side Scum Sisters), but like all dodgy promoters they fall on hard times. In a last ditch effort to ‘have it all’ they set about manufacturing a Boy Band – with a twist…
As has been the case with previous performances we are asking for groups from the community who wish to assist with food service to please contact Ian Guihot on 0428082711.
Groups of between 6 and 8 will be required to staff from approximately 6pm to 8pm and remain to clean afterward.
Those groups first to apply will have choice of remaining preferred dates. Performances will take place at the Canowindra Services Club on the dates of Friday 20th June, and the 4th and Saturday 21st of June, 27th and 28th, and 5th of July.
Tickets are available from the Canowindra Services Club and Safi’s on Gaskill Street at the cost of $35 each.
Ticket price includes dinner and a show not to be missed or easily forgotten; see you there!
