New South Wales and Victoria’s best inland regional tourism operators and attractions were named last night at the 2014 Inland Tourism Awards in Griffith.
Attendees from across New South Wales and Victoria gathered together at the Griffith Ex-Servicemen’s Club on Saturday, July 26, to find out which of the finalists would take home a coveted 2014 Inland Tourism Award.
The annual award ceremony is hailed as the ‘night of nights’ for the Inland Regional Tourism Industry.
The theme for this year’s awards was a gondola journey masquerade party.
The winners are now able to compete for finalist positions at the NSW Tourism Awards, which will be held in Sydney in November.
“The 11th annual Inland Tourism Awards showcased some of the best tourism attractions, products and operators in NSW and Victoria”, said Chair of the Awards, Tracey Valenzisi.
“This year, all entrants were of a high calibre,” Ms Valenzisi said.
“In some categories the marks between finalists were so close that a silver and bronze award was given. The winners demonstrated a high standard of professionalism and innovation in their field”.
The INTA Board would like to congratulate all winners and finalists for their contribution to regional tourism.
