With almost 200 riders, Team Penning Australia President and Canowindra resident, Michael Newcombe said the event was great for the local community.
"It's the first time it's been out of Tamworth and we've got 11 clubs under the one umbrella so we're going to try and share it around a bit more over the next few years and then everyone gains from it," he said.
"I was talking to the BP and they sold out of fuel and the bakery sold out of bread on Saturday- it's good for the town."
With the heats run on Friday and Saturday and the finals on Sunday, the Arena Sorting was won by the Wicks family of Bunnan and the Team Penning was won by Jake and Bianca Amos of Cowra and Emily Price of Canowindra.
