With more than 70 quilted items to choose from, the viewer's choice was hotly contested. The successful winner was, a lovely black and white quilt highlighted with a flash of lime green - Number 3.
This quilt was made by our very own Fiona Ferguson.
The draw for the lucky viewer's choice voter was won by Shirley Russell from Lyndhurst. Shirley will receive a $20 voucher to spend at one of the following businesses; The Plague and I Patchwork Shop, Federation Fotos or Scrapbox Patchwork Designs.
As part of this year's display, Debbie Guihot said there was "an orphan quilt".
"This quilt, was picked up off the road by a soft hearted taxi driver," she added.
Trish Veney said she was surprised to see her much loved family heirloom hanging in the library window.
Apparently it had attended a party in Canowindra without her knowledge and never made it home. Debbie said Trish was reunited with this very special quilt after the weekend.
"We must say thank you to all the quilters who generously loaned their quilts for display and a big thank you to all the businesses who allowed us to make use of their windows."
Remember to keep the October long weekend clear for next year when we will do it all over again, Mrs Guihot said.
