"These are the best of the best in outdoor fitness equipment with double fitness items on each station, full instruction manuals digitally printed on each piece and beautifully crafted construction ", said Julie Middleton -who has been involved with the project since its inception.
"Our local physiotherapists have helped with the choice of equipment so we have a range to work all area of the body."
The equipment arrived on three huge pallets and many hours have been spent unwrapping and putting it together.
Rob and Marg Morris, both members of the Fitness Path working party are coordinating the installation of the equipment with the help of many volunteers.
"I am so happy with the progress we made on Saturday with five pieces of equipment and two picnic tables being installed," Rob said.
"We couldn't have done it without the volunteer help of many local tradespeople and their equipment.
"We had about 20 people at the oval on Saturday all doing different jobs to get the work done, Canowindra people really excel at doing this!".
Marg added: "We still have seven more pieces of equipment plus tables and benches to install, then we will put the edging around the sites and fill them with wood mulch, but we are well on the way".
The Fitness Path Working party have many people to thank for their donation of time and equipment and a full list will appear once the installation is complete.
