Monday's celebrations will kick off at Morris Park in Rodd Street.
From 12 noon until 3pm the Canowindra Lions Club will be hosting the Australia Day Awards events for the afternoon and the Canowindra Little Athletics and Canowindra Rugby Club will be in charge of fun for all little aussies.
The Canowindra Lions club will be there with provide plenty of snags and steaks and the Canowindra Little A's are stocking up on the fresh, cold watermelon and will be running a variety of kid's activities.
The official party will arrive just before the commencement of the official Australia Day awards ceremony at 1.30pm, with Jono Williams hosting the ceremony. Marion Wilson will be delivering the Australia Day address.
This will be followed by the presentation of The Canowindra Citizen of the Year, The Canowindra Junior Citizen of the Year and the Canowindra Community Group of the Year.
All businesses are invited to dress up their windows and vye for the perpetual Window Australia Day Award.
Bring a chair, grab a picnic blanket and kick back and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon in the park.
