The start of the game was started as the boys played last weeks game, not very aggressive and not committing to rucks.
With this Blayney found the advantage line with ease and scored four tries to the Pythons' none in the first half.
The only good thing coming into the break was that the Python's scrum was strong and had the Rams on the back foot a few times.
The second half saw the boys up the aggression and show some hunger to keep the ball in their possession for a few more phases.
It was probably 45 minutes into the game before the boys found themselves in an attacking opportunity.
The Canowindra forwards won a tight head feed from five out and Clayton Maynard looked certain to have scored the points though was deemed to be held up.
In the 50th minute the Pythons scored after some good ball from new five-eight Joe Keady which saw Sean Wyburn barge his way through the defence for a five pointer.
The Pythons where able to put a lot of pressure on the opposition through some good runs from Jacob Baker and Dude Williams who both had great games.
Dan "everywhere man" Bowd had another blinder as did Ben Schaefer.
Blayney had the last say though with a late try to give the Rams a solid victory.
Though if the boys start to play to their ability the Pythons will turn their season around.
Points for the day went to Benny Easter 3, Ben is not the biggest bloke on the paddock but makes sure when he tackles or runs the ball the opposing sides feel it.
Two points went to the ever reliable Sean Wyburn who never seems to have a quiet game.
The Watt boys Luke and Mike got one each for their usual high impact games, with plenty of runs and tackles.
Player's player went to Adam Grant who lead the forwards around the park all day.
This weekend the Pythons have a home game and play host to the Aggies.
The boys should be fired up after a couple of below par games.
Afterwards the players will be holding the annual "Yabby Races" with plenty of action to be had.
The yabbies will be auctioned off by our young auctioneer Jack Beath, with plenty of prize money up for grabs to the winning yabby.
This is always a great night.
