With the cracks beginning to show- literally, Lodge Canowindra's David Francis said upgrades will need to be undertaken both inside and out.
"The cracks inside need to be fixed, we need to repaint the main area, do roof repairs and upgrade the electricity," he said.
"We need to fix the kitchen area, put in some appliances, upgrade the stove, reduce the clutter and just modernise it a bit. We also don't have a hot water system at all so we'd like to put one in."
A heritage listed building, Mr Francis said they're also hoping the give the exterior a lick of paint.
The fundraising dinner will be held Saturday, July 11 at the Canowindra Bowling Club. It's shaping up to be a right royal Scottish feast with as heart-warming Scotch broth, succulent hot baked ham and turkey and mouth watering desserts. Along with the meal, lucky door prizes, Christmas cracker raffles and Christmas tree prizes will also be held.
The event has been organised by Lodge Canowindra with assistance from CWA Canowindra. All proceeds will go to Lodge Canowindra's restorations.
Tickets are $35 and are available from Canowindra taxi (0428 634 410), The Plague and I (6344 2736) and the Canowindra Bowling Club (6344 1605)
