Hosted by Canowindra CWA, the Sunday Serenade aims to raise funds for the 2016 CWA Music and voice scholarship.
Last year’s scholarship recipient, year 11 student Mackenzie Lazarou has been honing her singing talents in Orange with the scholarship’s proceeds and will return to showcase her skills.
Along with Mackenzie, other local performers set to impress are Nerida Cuddy, Josh Maynard, Steve Johnston, Izabella Tanewski, Janie Root, Josie Mitchell and Deanne Curtis.
Elizabeth Barrett (Sydneain Bach Choir and Bathurst Allegri Singers) and Catherine Barrett (University of Sydney) will be welcomed as guest performers.
The concert will be held on Sunday, August 9 at All Saints Anglican Church in Canowindra from 2pm.
Tickets are $5 at the door and include a CWA quality afternoon tea. Any donations to the scholarship will be gratefully accepted.
Primary school children and younger are free.
