The Canowindra Tennis Club will be doing just that after they received a grant of $14,000 from Southern Phone on Wednesday, February 3.
The grant money will be used by the Tennis Club to put up lights for their newly resurfaced number five court.
Chairman of Southern Phone Bill Hilzinger said it was great to support local communities.
"Our company is owned by 41 councils, with each council having two $1 shares, those shares have only been held by council."
"The councils hold those shares on behalf of the people so for a council like Cabonne which has 13,000 people in it each person has one 13,000th of a share," he said.
Because of its shares the Cabonne Council receives $51,000 in normal funds with the $25,000 grant money being a bonus that will be used across a number of community organisations not just the Tennis Club.
