CSU crossed twice during the opening exchanges before tries to both Jayden Brown and Todd Wyburn swung the momentum in favour of the visitors.
Canowidra went into the sheds holding a two-point advantage with the score 12-10.
Following the break, two penalty goals and a late try to Daniel Williams confirmed the Pythons’ 15-point win.
Mitchell White received players’ player and two points, Todd Wyburn received three and Jayden Brown and Scott Ellis shared one.
The Pythons visit Grenfell this Saturday.
