Each week a year five student and Kinder junior are randomly paired together for a peer teaching lesson, helping the younger students gain knowledge in working technology.
The program has been operating for five weeks and the respective students from each grade are enjoying the opportunity of working together.
The lessons involve Kinder junior students learning the basic operations of a laptop so they can independently log in and log out, and search the web.
Several teachers said it’s been a huge success and that it will likely become a regular workshop for year five and Kinder junior students.
