Former local junior squash star, Rohan Toole has been selected to represent Australia at the World University Games to be held in Kuala Lumpur during early September this year.

Although Toole, a product of Canowindra, recently won the gold medal at the Eastern Australia University Games, representing The University of Newcastle, his selection was based on his results during the past 12 months in World Professional Squash Association competitions.
He is currently playing in an international under 21s event in New Caledonia.
On his return, he’ll a short break to prepare for several Professional Squash Association events in Victoria culminating at the Australian Open in Melbourne in mid August.
The busy schedule then sees him travel to Kuala Lumpur to compete at the World University Games.
Toole competed at the Cowra Squash Club for many years before making his move to University in conjunction with pursuing his squash career.
During his playing days in Cowra, Toole was the recipient of the Cowra Sportsperson of the Year Services Club Scholarship in 2012.
His selection was based on his results in World Professional Squash Association events over the past 12 months.
