Played in front of a strong Sponsors, Members and Ladies Day crowd at Tom Clyburn Oval, the Pythons shot to a 21-5 half time lead which they extended to 54-5 at full time.
Jayden Brown, Luke Watt, Craig McKenzie and Kenny Turnbull all secured doubles while Brown converted five goals, Watt jagged one and so did Daniel Bowd.
Canowindra crossed for four late tries during the final 15 minutes which sealed the victory, and keeps hopes alive of a finals berth.
Ahead of this weekend’s scheduled bye, Canowindra are equal points with fourth placed West Wyalong, who they meet next Saturday, July 30 at West Wyalong.
The top four at the end of the regular rounds progress to the finals.
