Cabonne Council is calling for written nominations for community residents in the Cabonne area worthy of consideration for the 2017 Young Citizen of the Year (up to 25 years of age), Citizen of the Year and Community Group of the Year.

Canowindra residents are encouraged to put their thinking caps on and nominate worthy community members.
The basic criteria for awards in all categories is that of service to the community, in terms of personal contribution and spread of involvement, also scholastic and sporting achievements for Young Citizen of the Year.
Announcement of the winners will be made as part of the celebration at each village celebrating Australia Day in Cabonne on January 26, 2017.
Nomination forms can be obtained at Council offices or on Council’s website www.cabonne.nsw.gov.auNominations, WHICH MUST REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL, close 5.00pm on Wednesday 9 November 2016.
Nominations will be accepted by post, email council@cabonne.nsw.gov.au or at any Council office.
