It was a must win match for Canowindra, and they did it easy chasing Morongla’s innings of 112 in 12 overs with the loss of just two wickets.
Batting at number four, Jacob Devlin notched a half-century while opener Craig Carpenter kept his wicket intact and scored a valuable 46 not out.
This will be the second grade side’s first shot at silverware since Nick Traves took over the captaincy last season – it’s also the club’s first appearance in a decider since A grade made the Doug Wright Shield decider in 2013-2014.
This season’s A grade side fell to back to back defeats against Valleys and Young to leave them without a chance of qualifying for the final.
It will be contested between Bowling Club and Valleys.
Both games will be played at Holman Oval in Cowra this Saturday, with B grade beginning proceedings from 1pm. A grade should start about 4pm.
