AGED care units under construction in Molong have received a boost after the Molong Combined Pensioners and Superannuants donated $28,000 to the cause. Edna Brown presented a cheque to Cabonne mayor Ian Gosper, bringing the group to a total of $31,000 raised through street stalls, raffles and other fund-raising. A project of the town’s Acacia Lodge Committee, the three units in Edward Street will provide accommodation for those who may not be able to afford to enter traditional aged care facilities.
