The always popular Cabonne Country Balloon Glow will light the night sky over Canowindra on Saturday, April 22 at 7.15pm.

However it’s not just the glow to look forward too in the evening, there’s an afternoon jam packed full of activities for the whole family to enjoy on the day – just bring a chair or a rug.
Gates will open from 3.30pm and the annual Southern Graincorp Cup Rugby Match will kick off at 4pm.
Make sure you come down and cheer on the local Canowindra Pythons rugby team as they play Yeoval.
There will also be a ute bar in operation.
From 4pm to 8pm the Twilight Wine, Food and Craft Market will take over Canowindra Sports Ground, filling the field with the best local produce the region has to offer.
Local chefs and wineries will offer their produce at sample sizes and prices or alternatively, you can bring your own picnic basket.
No BYOG.
This is a glass free event.
There will be plenty of additional entertainment on the Saturday, with local and regional dancers and performance groups taking to the field throughout the afternoon and evening
At 6pm, Roving fire entertaining performers will stun audiences with their death-defying stunts.
The official welcome will kick off at 6.30pm, followed by a performance at 6.30pm by Nerida Cuddy.
At 6.50pm, the “Let’s Get Happy” part of the program will start, with kids encouraged to join in on the glow celebrations.
Children with glow wands are to gather at the front of the crowd to join in the light spectacular.
Glow wands will be available from the Information tent or from dedicated sellers wandering through the crowd.
Cost $5 each.
At 7pm, the Razed in Flame for dancers take the stage as the lights dim and the music begins!
Watch as they dance with danger and mingle with the crowd with walkabout style fire entertainment.
The main event kicks off at 7.15pm. This popular and spectacular event is a photographer’s dream and to be enjoyed by young and old.
Entrance fee of $20 per adult, $15 youth 13-18 years, children under 12 years free.
