Currently a bi-annual event held in early March when the weather is stable, the temperatures comfortable and the stress of Christmas has been left behind.
The event involves providing a high quality meal created and prepared by highly respected chefs from the best local produce to guests seated along the main street.
The night is also accompanied by local wines and fantastic music to get people off their seats and make it a great night enjoyed by all.
This years meal was prepared by Kim Currie owner/chef of the Zin House restaurant in Mudgee, another chef that has cooked for the 100 mile dinner is Brett Melhuish of restaurant Ninety Two in Bathurst.
Growing from strength to strength this years 100 mile dinner was sold out well before the date of the dinner and is always a huge success with locals and visitors alike praising the sense of community spirit raised by the dinner.
Established in 2012, the 100 mile dinner has been an annual event with 2016 being the only year that the dinner hasn’t run.
Come along next year and try some of the best food and wine in NSW.
