Ryan Prevett and Kyran Bubb have been revealed as the co-coaching duo to push CYMS towards another grand final final appearance in the competition’s reserve grade this winter.
CYMS’ lower grade outfit won premierships in 2014 and 2015 before playing in last year’s grand final, where the club went down to Bathurst Panthers in extra-time, the men in black securing the title courtesy of a 10-6 triumph.
Prevett spent time with the Manildra Rhinos in 2016 while Bubb has been a mainstay at CYMS over the last decade, winning competitions with the premier league side.
The side won 22-4 in round one over St Pat’s, and will kick-off against a tough Bathurst Panthers oufit from 7.30pm on Thursday night.
Under 18s kick-off at 5.15pm at Wade Park. League tag is at 6.30pm.
