With Australia now the second largest seller of Krone balers, the Germany based company identifies Australia as an important market, Richard says.
He and Mark will spend two weeks learning and using the training houses and facilities in Germany.
“Their training houses are really good. They have full facilities. Balers all split down and cut down and even the forage harvesters, they will have the gear box pulled in half. We don’t have the ability here in Australia to do that sort of training,” he said.
Richard says he and Mark will put what they learn to work at McClintocks Canowindra, and staff will have the luxury of learning from their knowledge.
“We’ll bring everything back with us. We’ll teach our staff and show our staff a lot of upgrades and technical training.
“We’ve sold a few of those [forage harvesters] to the big local dairy farms like Moxy Farms and Townsend Rural Contracting.
“It’s well worth it,” he added.
Richard is also going on a sales training course spending ten days between the United Kingdom and Berlin and Spelle in Germany where the Krone factory is.
“At the end of the day it’s where all the big facilities are and training houses are.
“We’re getting hands on at the factory to see how things are made. It’s more in depth,” he said.
Australia is the second largest seller of Krone balers in the world.
