The under 7s were able to score multiple times taking their game out eight tries to two.
The girls league tag showed massive improvement but unfortunately the girls were outplayed by the older Grenfell girls.
The under 10s game saw the lead swap various times but in the end it was Canowindra who came out victors.
Tries to Riley and Beau Bollinger, Tyler Burn, Hayden Whatman and Oscar Cleary to win 34-30.
Lunch time game was a nail biter between the under 12s with both teams wanting a win. On the fulltime hooter the score was drawn at 22-all.
Try to Cameron, converted by Bailey and tries and conversions to Hugh and Cooper. Under 14s once again took the field outmanned but full of pride and determination. It didn’t take long for Grenfell to put points on the board and eventually take out the win.
The Canowindra boys never gave up and were able to sneak in some points by Pedro Tapim, converted by Luke Wheeler.
It took till the second half of the under 16s for the boys to get pumped up, scoring 10 unanswered points on Grenfell before they could reply with 4 minutes to go and win the game. Tries scored by Pedro and Kyle and converted by Hayden.
The Canowindra Services Club has generously donated a voucher to each team every week.
The voucher is awarded to the player who displays great sportsmanship and improvement.
This weeks winners were Lachlan Dunkley, Lila McCaffery, Bodhi White, Hugh Breen, Cameron Wheeler and Codie Reid.
