Australia’s first lady of soul Christine Anu will be electrifying taste Canowindra for one night only on Saturday, September 16.

Back by popular demand, Australia’s first lady of soul Christine Anu will be electrifying the stage once more in “REWIND - The Aretha Franklin Songbook” at taste Canowindra in a one night only concert.

On Saturday, September 16 at 6:30pm, Christine will be singing memorable renditions of the queen of soul's most revered songs including Respect, (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, Chain of Fools and Today I Sing The Blues and her other mega hits including My Island Home.

The show, which toured nationally to packed audiences in 2012 and again in 2015, received rave reviews.

Long known as one of the central west’s premiere live music venues, taste Canowindra, is a stylish, custom-built performance venue which has hosted some of the Australia’s most famous artists.

"I've performed the show last year at taste,” Christine says.

"Singing there is always such a huge thrill. It has an amazing atmosphere given it's one of Australia's most iconic music venues which has been going strong for the past 11 years. I'm honoured to be back there."

This will be the last show at taste with Bob and Marg Craven at the helm they move on at the end of September.

They will be around for a short time to assist the new owners in early October.

There are only nine tickets remaining secure one by ringing 02 6344 2332.
