The winners were the team of Mark Wright Penny Nash and Joyce Middleton while the runners up were the team of Tot, Tony and Betty.
Last Sunday Bob Bates had a successful Presidents Day with 16 teams competing.
The winners were the team of Peter "Freckle" Taylor, Allan "Westy" Wyburn and Phil "Leesy" Lees.
The runners up were the team of Vinnie Mirto, Terry Mooney and Brent Lees.
The round winners were a Cowra team, a Woodstock team and a Grenfell team.
Thanks to the bowls committee making the day run smoothly and also thanks to Dool for his work on the greens during the week.

Friday, October 27-
Twilight barefoot bowls being mixed mufti turn around triples. Prize money proudly sponsored by men’s bowls. Winners will receive $180 and runners up will receive $60. Names in by 6pm for 6.30pm start. One game of 15 ends with entry fee being $21 per team. First 14 teams accepted.
Saturday October 28, mixed pairs-

Sunday October 29, consistency singles-
P Kennedy V D Beath Marker R Traves.

Coming event, Saturday November 25-
Mixed Mufti Day proudly sponsored by Canowindra Phoenix with prize money of $500. Teams can be men, women or mixed men and women. Two games of 15 ends.
Wednesday badge draw will be $250 and Friday badge draw will be $700.

Consistency final-
Jo Davies defeated Libby Balcombe 151-149. What a great match so close. Congratulations to Jo, the Consistency Winner for 2017. Thanks to the marker Christine Pickard.
There were two games of social bowls played one fours and one triples.
Bobbie Turner, Bobbie Turner, Penny Nash and Joice McNaught defeated Linda Miller, Leanne Stevenson, Moyna Rue and Dianne Mooney 16-12. Bobbie played lead and second.
Shirley Robson, Joyce Middleton and Daph Bryant defeated Pauline Carroll, Ellen Petty and Radka Tatterson 26-10.
The Lucky Draw was won by Bobbie Turner with No. 22.
The two Canowindra teams that attended Parkes President’s Day on Tuesday, October 17 had a very enjoyable day of bowls and fellowship, but no winning trophies.
Jeanette Wheeldon received a Lucky Door Prize.
