Motorbike rider transported to Orange Base Hospital after towing accident

A 31-year-old man was taken to Orange Base Hospital with a broken leg, and a broken arm after two motorbikes crashed near Canowindra on Tuesday evening.

The injured man was riding a motorbike being towed by the second motorbike involved when the lead bike lost control on the Warraderry Way about 6.30pm, police said.

The rider of the lead vehicle suffered minor injuries.

“The rider of the bike doing the towing has lost control and both have crashed heavily but the rider being towed has suffered the most severe injuries,” Sergeant Rod Buhr of Cowra Police said.
