Kelly Cramp and Fiona Cramp (nee Fletcher) held a surprise wedding on November 11.
The surprise Scottish themed wedding in Fiona’s backyard brought the sound of the highlands to Australia with bagpipes played by Kerrie French and her instructor.
“We met through friends from work and we started dating all the residents and staff were happy when we started going out with each other,” Fiona said.
“We’ve worked together for 12 years and we’ve been a couple for two years, we wanted to show people that we have really positive interactions at Bilyara like meeting our partners.
“We got married at 3pm and at 5pm when the residents were having dinner we surprised them with a walk through in our wedding attire before we went from table to table an they congratulated us.
“In fact it was a surprise to everyone the only people who knew we were getting married that day were the piper and Joy Bonner who conducted the ceremony, everyone thought we were just having an engagement party,” she said.
