Host Mike Whitney and his film crew spent a few days in Canowindra during the final week of January checking out all Canowindra has to offer, including a hot air balloon ride and a Blind Freddy’s Bushranger tour. 

The crew was also treated to a reenactment of the infamous Ben Hall raids in Canowindra, with Mr Whitney getting up close and personal with the bushranger gang. 

“It’s a beautiful place to come, fantastic accommodation around the place, some funky little cafes have opened up and of course the Bushranger history,” Mr Whitney said at the time.

“I’ve been here a couple of times in the last 20 years, I knew exactly what I was in for.

“Canowindra is considered one of the best places in the world, probably the premiere hot air ballooning spot in Australia,” he said describing the ballooning as one of the highlights of his visit.​
