Following a wash out last week, Canowindra Touch grand finals took place under perfect conditions on Monday night.

The HoneyBadgers took on the BottleO to see who would take out B Grade.

In a try for try first half, it was anyone's game. The second half saw BottleO creep into the lead and eventually come home with a 6-3 win. Player of the game was Corey Parish.

In A grade Cargo Shearing battled Central Motors for the premierships. In a replay of last years grand final, in which Cargo won, Cargo took out an early lead going into half time 2-1.

Central Motors regrouped in the break and were able to hold out the attack to take out victory 4-2. Player of the game was Mark Fisher.

A barbecue and presentation was held at the Golf Club. Award winners on the evening were as follows:

Best and Fairest: Pedro Tapim

Sportsmanship: Pedro Tapim

Top Try Scorer: Matt McLean

Massive thanks to Suzzanah Tapim for cooking the barbecue, Brett, Ollie, Bolly, Greg and Pully for refereeing and especially all the players and their families for another great year.

Call for nominations for the 2018-2019 season will be late in September for an October start.
