The Carpo day is one of the premier days at the club and is well organised by the Carpenter family. Winner for the day by five shots was Todd Fisher, Ronny Lawrence and Jack Nobes with nett 53.34.
Runners up were Adam Rogers, Dan Ebert and Malcom Miller with nett 58.34.
Third place was Len Hamilton, Tot and Bimbo and Cheesey.
The Bradman Trophy went to the Delaney team. Thanks to the Carpenter family for another great day and everyone helped on the day.
Sunday’s 18 hole stroke sponsored bye Bill Flannery drew a field of 18. Rowley McCall with a nett 69 on a countback from runner up Chuck Lawrence on 69.
Thanks to Bill for supplying the trophies and a few Keno tickets on the side. Jackpot one and two were not won.
This week is presentation night on Saturday we need numbers for catering. If you won any championship’s this year come along on Saturday to receive your trophy.
Sunday is Ross Noble 18 hole medal.
Saturday, March 17 is a working bee to clean up the showground for the Balloon Challenge. 9am start.
