The results of the summer competition:
Best Nett score - Eileen Wilson 55 Nett received her prize donated by Helen Constable.
Most 1 Putts went to Julie Fairley with the prize donated by Edna Hughes.
Gobbles Prize went to Edna Hughes with the prize being donated by Julie Fairley.
On February 28 our first Par event was held with 11 players.
A grade was won by Annette Thomas with -2.
B Grade was won by Lorrae Barker also with -2.
Wheel was won by Collette and the ball by Lorrae.
On March 7 our 1st Stableford event was held with five players where Lorrae Barker won with 36pts and Collette took home the ball from the sweep.
March 5 saw five ladies travel to the NSW Golf Summer Meeting held on the Southern Highlands to experience some different courses. Bowral, Moss Vale, Mt Broughton and The Highlands at Mittagong.
Experiences differed amongst the players as did the weather.
Annette finished 17 from a field of 60 players, a great effort for first time on these courses.
Annette and Eileen finished 4th in the Foursomes at The Highlands which certainly had some challenges.
March 14 was our 1st Monthly Medal and Putting Competition with 9 players.
A Grade winner was Helen Kemper with 73 Nett.
B Grade Winner was Lorrae Barker with a great 72 Nett.
This meant that Lorrae was also the winner of our 1st Monthly Medal.
Congratulations Lorrae you just keep improving, see it’s EASY! Ball sweep & the wheel went to Annette.
Saturday was a little warm but five pairs braved 27 holes for the Mixed Canadian Foursome Championship.
The reigning Champions stood aside for the deserving New Champions Dan Ebert and Julie Fairley with a wonderful 123.
Dan and Julie will receive their Prize at the next Annual Presentation.
Daily winners determined on Nett scores were Chris Weaver and Helen Kemper with 111.83 and R/U Dan Ebert & Julie Fairley 116.17.
(Prizes weren’t available on the day due to the Working Bee clashing with this Event.)
Pennants This Year-Round 1 Canowindra will play Wentworth at Wentworth Friday, April 6 and Cowra at Canowindra with the date to be finalised.

Upcoming Tournaments - Sunday 25th Wentworth Tournament, a challenging steep course.
