An information session to explain how the plan was developed, what it means for the region and how to provide input into the final plan will be held on Friday, March 23 at the Cowra Saleyards from 10.30am until 1.30pm.
According to the Natural Resources Commission the economic impact of wild rabbits, carp, pigs, foxes, dogs, goats and introduced birds had been estimated at $170 million in NSW, said Central Tablelands Local Land Services General Manager Chris Cumming.
“This plan sets the strategic direction for pest animal management in the region for the next five years and guides resourcing and investment dedicated to coordinated pest animal management,” Ms Cumming said.
