The Pythons take on West Wyalong at West Wyalong on Saturday, aiming to turn a busy preseason into early competition points.
West Wyalong are coming off an opening round 17-15 loss against Condobolin.
Elsewhere, in the opening round Temora had a healthy 48-8 win over Cootamundra and Harden kept Grenfell scoreless winning 10-0.
The Pythons return to Canowindra in round three on April 21 when they host Temora.
