Wednesday, April 11 conditions were hot and there was plenty of run mid fairways and slower around the greens. We had our second monthly medal and putting daily winners.
A grade: Eileen Wilson with a 70 nett
B grade: Edna Hughes with 80 Nett
Monthly medal went to Eileen, Julie Fairley won the putting on a countback from Marea Agustin. Wheel winner was Edna Hughes and the ball sweep to Margie Sharp.
Mention must be made about Daniels Hughes winning the Steve Waugh Medal we all know where his talent originates, his very proud grandmother of course.
The Lawford Cup match play is under way.
Orange Ex-Services tournament Saturday, April 7 saw Julie Fairley runner up division two handicap, while Rhonda Ward came third in division three Stableford.
Our pennants team Annette Thomas, Ros Partridge, Julie Fairley, Helen Kemper and Collette Armstrong played against Wentworth at Wentworth on Friday 6th April.
The ladies all played very well with some amazing fightback tales, Julie won on the 18th, Annette played to the 19th, Ros chipped in to win on the 18th and the rest as they say is history.
Unfortunately, we were defeated 3-2. Well done and thanks for travelling. (Next year Caddies… just for the day out.)
Wentworth tournament saw three ladies travel to enjoy the course, no prizes to bring home there.

Wednesday 21st president versus captain 4BBB Stableford with the presidents team winning 96.5 points to the captains 93.5 points.
