Community members listened to the Last Post, took a moment’s silence and responded ‘Less We Forget’ to the ode throughout Wednesday morning.
Services took place in larger towns like Dubbo, Bathurst, Orange and Mudgee along with smaller towns such as Trangie, Nyngan, Grenfell and Boorowa.

After the services and commemorations many went to the local watering hole to indulge in a game of ‘Two-Up.’
The game is only legally allowed to be played three days a year, including Anzac Day.
