Canowindra chalked up its third win of the Woodbridge Cup season on Mother’s Day, thumping Condobolin Rams 50-18 at Tom Clyburn Oval.

A hat-trick of tries to Tigers’ Brydon Hughes led Canowindra to the 32-point round six victory, the Rams falling to a fifth loss of the season.

Four Canowindra tries to Condobolin’s one in the opening half gave the Tigers a 22-6 lead at the break.

The Rams struck first in the second to reduce the margin to 22-12, however from there it was all the Tigers as tries to Dave Doran, Matt Mclean and a third to Brydon Hughes put the game to rest.
