A hat-trick of tries to Tigers’ Brydon Hughes led Canowindra to the 32-point round six victory, the Rams falling to a fifth loss of the season.
Four Canowindra tries to Condobolin’s one in the opening half gave the Tigers a 22-6 lead at the break.
The Rams struck first in the second to reduce the margin to 22-12, however from there it was all the Tigers as tries to Dave Doran, Matt Mclean and a third to Brydon Hughes put the game to rest.
The visitors scored a late consolation before Tigers halfback Jayden Brown iced the win with a four pointer inside the final minute to register Canowindra a convincing 50-18 win.
Three points and players’ player went to Nick Willson, Brydon Hughes picked up two points and Nathan Whatman and Jayden Brown scored one point each.
“Our forwards laid a good platform for the backs to work their magic,” Tigers committee member Barry Traves said.
This week the Tigers are away to the winless Burrangong Bears who were beat 76-0 by Manildra on Sunday.
Canowindra’s league tag side was beat 18-14 by the Rams and youth league lost 18-12.
