Lilly Wakeling, Lily Lawler, Ella Breen, Chloe Bellach, Grace Mangelsdorf, Georgie Fisher and Laura Flannery joined more than 80 students from Cobar, Nyngan, Lithgow, Yeoval, Bathurst, Orange, Blayney and Cowra.
Students were placed into groups and put through workshops with professional performers and choreographers including former So You Think You Can Dance Australia top 100 contestant Alice Robinson (contemporary/lyrical), Travis Khan (musical theatre) and Hideboo (hip hop).
Three dances were performed on the final day.
Canowindra High School dance teacher Mrs Kath Balcombe congratulated the students, and hopes to have a bigger contingent next year.
“Congratulations to ours students on their behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the three days. They returned sore and tired but rightfully proud of what they had achieved,” Mrs Balcombe said.
“With the camp being held in Cowra again in 2019 we look forward to sending an even bigger contingent next year.”
