The students, including students from Canowindra High School, covered topics including equality, acceptance and trust, bullying, alcohol and other drugs and safety.
Cowra Neighbourhood and Information Centre CEO Fran Stead said the forum was totally youth focused.
“We had conversations with 80 students, and they themed today's forum,” she said.
“It’s about us being a voice for the kids, the more they put into it the more we can support them.
Youth Action’s Angus Megarrity said the forum topics had been affirmed by all the young people attending.
“We’re very pleased to be out in Cowra, being out here is important and it’s a great opportunity for us to get out and work with young people,” he said.
“We represent all 1.2 million young people in the state and these young people are just as important as the young people in the city.”
