The work was made possible after the purchase of land previously part of the Cudal Fire Station and will see 12 additional childcare places created at the centre.
“The parents, children, staff and broader Cudal community are very excited to see all the years of raising funds, applying for grants and commitment needed during the planning process finally resulting in a start to the renovations,” centre director Stacey Roweth said.
“It has taken a huge effort from so many people over the years to get to this point.
“We are looking forward to working closely with Cabonne Constructions to make our new centre a reality for the coming year,” she said.
