Mahlo Lorthiois, 25, of Winery Road, Canowindra, failed to appear at Cowra Local Court on November 7, charged with drive with middle range PCA.
Magistrate Michael O’Brien said Lorthiois is a French national who is in Australia on a working visa.
“He does not hold a NSW licence or an international driving licence,” Magistrate O’Brien said.
“He consumed an unknown amount of beers and rum and cokes and he is not known to NSW Police.”
According to the police facts, about 11pm on October 22, 2018, Lorthiois was seen driving through the intersection of Kendal and Brisbane Streets in Cowra in the wrong direction.
Police then stopped Lorthiois.
When police asked Lorthiois to produce a licence, he replied “I don’t have one”.
Police then conducted a breath test on Mr Lorthiois which returned a reading of 0.129 grams of alcohol in 210 liters of breath.
Lorthiois told police he consumed alcohol between 7.30pm and 10.30pm that evening.
