Baker was scheduled to kick-off her Australian tour on Sunday, February 17 in Canowindra, with friend and local musician Gordi, at Moorbel Hall.
“We extend our deepest apologies to those who have helped to arrange these shows or planned to attend and thank you for your understanding,” Baker’s management said in a press release.
“Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase.”
Baker has also cancelled the rest of her current 2019 tour, including dates in Japan and New Zealand, to return to her hometown of Memphis.
However, while refunds are available, Gordi will still fulfill her commitment at Moorbel Hall, playing her first show in her home town in four years and promising to unveil a special guest during the evening.
“[She] is excited to play for her fans in the area as well as those dedicated fans making the trip out west,” Gordi’s management said.
“We will have more information on run times for the show shortly.”
