Facing rape allegations, de Belin had his bail conditions changed to allow him to travel and play with the Dragons this season.
However, the ARL Commission stepped in with a new "no-fault" policy framework, where players charged with serious crimes would be stood down while the court hearings proceed.
The Mercury has confirmed de Belin's hearing has been listed for the Federal Court on Thursday.
St George Illawarra's NRL season begins against North Queensland in Townsville on Saturday week.
De Belin, who made his State of Origin debut last year, did not play in either Dragons trial, the Charity Shield loss to South Sydney and the victory over Newcastle at WIN Stadium.
