The event is now celebrating its 18th year at the Forbes Showgrounds and organisers are expecting a good turnout of camels.
Organiser Lee Marsh said everything is on track for the event with 28 camels expected to be entered in the seven-race program.
Many of the previous camels and cameleers are expected to return to Forbes.
The day is jam-packed with family friendly activities and stalls, a display of antique tractors as well the kids foot races and lolly drop.
Entry is $10 for adults, $5 for aged pensioner and kids under 16 are free.
The grandstand is now open for people to take a break in between races or cheer on their favourite camel.
The day is strictly no BYO, as there is a bar in operation, run by the Forbes Jockey Club. The canteen will be run by Red Bend Junior Rugby League. Lachlan Dragons will be running the drinks and merchandise stand, while CanAssist volunteers man the gate.
