The combined Cowra-Canowindra women's team fared marginally better in their game, losing 12-29 to a Wellington Redbacks outfit that had their first win of the season on Saturday afternoon.
The loss leaves the Eagle-Pythons on level pegging with Wellington, the Dubbo Kangaroos, Orange City Lions and Harden Red Devils on level points in the bottom third of the draw, with only for and against separating the teams.
The men's team lost to the Redbacks 0-31, leaving the Pythons in last place now that Coonabarabran have withdrawn from this year's competition.
