Canowindra's League Tag side got back on the winner's ledger this week, easily dismantling the Molong Bulls 48-14 in round six of the Woodbridge Cup.
Kate Price was voted best on ground in the win, and got player's player for her efforts as well, with Alicia Earsman (two) and Kelly Price, Monique Jenart and Samantha Hartwell (one) all rounding out the votes.
The win leaves the Tigers mid-table, in fifth place, having jumped ahead of the Bulls, who sit one game behind.
Men's Tigers done in by raging Bulls
Despite fighting back from a sluggish start, the Canowindra Tigers were beaten soundly by the Molong Bulls on Sunday afternoon, losing 38-14 at Tom Clyburn Oval
However, it wasn't all one way traffic, for while the Bulls got the jump early on the Tigers during the Mother's Day fixture, the Tigers fought back, getting control of possession to get the contests on level terms early in the second half, after being down 14-0 early in the first.
However, the contest fell away after that, with the Tigers failing to make the most of their scoring chances as the Bulls got away.
Skipper Brydon Hughes got three votes and player's player, while Frazer Ryder (two) and Andrew Kelleher (one) also featured amongst the Tiger's best.
Like the women's team, Tigers are in fifth after the loss, on level points with rivals the Cargo Blue Heelers.
Tigers feature heavily in rep squad
The Woodbridge Cup's representative teams have been named, with Tigers featuring heavily in the announced teams, while men's mentor Dan Barclay will coach the under 23s first grade side.
