Held at Matt Morrison Oval in Wyangala, the event is catered to families with plenty of fun and entertainment for the young and young at heart.
Wyangala Fireworks Committee Member, Lea Smith, said the event goes from strength to strength each year.
"It went really, really well," she said.
"We were on par with last year, so we had 4000 people."
This year children also had the opportunity to purchase foam, light up sticks from the Wyangala Dam Public School P&C.
Live music was provided by local musicians Josie Laver and Josh Maynard, both of whom recently auditioned for The Voice Australia.
"Josh was our entertainment a few years ago so is was great to have him back," Mrs Smith said.
The fireworks capped off a day of festivities in the village, with mufti bowls and a golf tournament held earlier that day.
