A 42-year-old Moorbel man has been fined $200 and disqualified from driving for three months at Cowra Local Court on August 7.

Robert David Clarkson of Cable Street failed to appear before the court charged with driving a motor vehicle with an illicit drug present in his blood.
The matter was heard in his absence.

According police facts around 12.01am on Sunday, April 7, Clarkson was stopped by police on Redfern Street for a random breath and drug test.
His breath test returned a negative reading while his oral fluid test returned a positive reading to methamphetamines.
A secondary test at the Cowra Police Station was positive to Meth.
In sentencing Magistrate Michael O'Brien, said Clarkson had a lengthy history with drug related matters in 2008 and a PCA offence in 2016.
